Closing ceremonies.

While not actually a Knitting Olympian, I did have my own personal goal for this weekend: to finish the first sleeve on my Tubey. And, not 5 minutes ago, I just cast off for the cuff. I subsequently took blurry photos of it on my arm, which I am not going to post. All you can see is a long blue stick which, while it accurately represent the spindliness of my arm, doesn't make the sleeve look very good. Luckily, I've been working on my Clapotis, which has been more of a photographic success. While I love the pattern, I remain undecided about Noro Silk Garden. I expected it to be, I don't know, more silky? It's just downright scratchy at the moment, and although it looks nice, I won't wear it often if it will feel like a brillo pad around my neck. Congratulations to all of the knitters who participated in the KO. Well done! Now have some tea/alcohol/chocolate/a nap.
