Would madame like some cheap wine?

Last night I went to the surprise party I mentioned in a previous post, but without making the scarf I thought I would. The invitation specified no presents, only chocolate which was thrown into a big basket. The birthday girl was very pleased, I think. It was held at Spagio Cellars in Grandview, which was a fantastic place once I settled into the atmosphere and stopped worrying they'd kick me out because my shoes cost less than our bottle of wine did (and it was cheap wine). Today: doing all the work I didn't do yesterday because I was fiddling with my new laptop (wheeee!) and hopefully finishing the damn sleeve on The Boyfriend's sweater. I so want to get this done, and it's just taking aaaaaages. How do other knitting bloggers crank these things out so quickly? I suspect they have robotic arms.
